SPANNINGA SHOWCASES INNOVATIONS AT EUROBIKE 2024 | Spanninga extends three of their successful rearlight series with innovative features for enhanced safety. The latest enhancements ensure that cyclists are more visible and protected on the road. With these new features, Spanninga once again sets the standard for bicycle lighting. Next to that, Spanninga ups their digital game as well. The Augmented Reality (AR) App has been updated and is more complete than ever.

HALO

After successfully introducting the HALO series on Eurobike last year and winning a German Design Award 2024, Spanninga will add a new version of the HALO carrier rearlight, including sensor-based stop-light function and turning indicators. This innovative rearlight series features a unique ultracompact design with smooth organic lines and an integrated Z-reflector. The HALO lights are available for carrier or fender mount, for dynamo operated bikes with safe-stop and for e-bikes with a brake-light, connected to the lever.

GLOW

Spanninga’s award-winning (German Design Award 2023) GLOW integrated rearlight solution is, as the first on the market, designed specifically for the unique Commuter carrier. This series is developed with other international experts in their fields: BASIL, MIK, MASSLOAD and TRACEFY. This year, the GLOW series will be extended with a version featuring sensor-based stop-light function and turning indicators. The rearlight series are also available for dynamo operated bikes with safe-stop and for e-bikes with a brake-light function (connected to the lever).

PIMENTO

The compact PIMENTO series is a ground-breaking and innovative light. It features the most recent technologies within the market (e.g., COB LED technology). The PIMENTO has an extremely powerful light beam, both towards the back and sides. On this year’s Eurobike we are glad to present our newest member of the PIMENTO family, the PIMENTO MINI. Super compact, super modular and with multiple mounting options. Next to that, extra versions in the regular and large series with enhanced safety features will be presented at the Eurobike show: brake-light, stop-light, as well as a new PIMENTO FRONT light.

AR APP

Another innovation that Spanninga showcases at Eurobike 2024, is the release of a new update of their Augmented Reality (AR) App. Developed for category and product managers, this app makes it easy to discover the entire Spanninga collection. It provides all the information you need, right at your fingertips!

In the enhanced version of the app, usability and accessibility have been improved. Next to that, more information is available through more comprehensive content: high-quality photos, informative videos, 360° views and detailed technical descriptions. In addition, the selected lights can now be visualized in Augmented Reality on a bicycle and users can easily get in touch with the right contact person within the international Spanninga team.
