Introducing the newest addition to the Spanninga collection: the HALO. This innovative rearlight series features a unique ultracompact design with smooth organic lines and an integrated Z-reflector. The HALO series has been designed with a modular approach in mind, resulting in the same looks for both carrier and fender mounting options.

Highlights

This high-performance fender rearlight delivers an incredibly powerful light beam towards the back and sides. Equipped with an integrated Z-approved reflector and COB LED technology, the HALO-GUARD delivers a brighter, clearer, and more visible light than ever before.

Functions & Performance

With a visibility range up to 500 meters from all sides and a powerful 8 Candela light beam, this rearlight ensures approaching traffic is kept at a safe distance. The circular shape of the HALO-GUARD ensures a 360-degree visibility, making it the perfect rearlight for any cyclist. Its sleek and modern design complements all types of fenders, adding a touch of style to any bicycle.

The dynamo version of the HALO-GUARD features the innovative Safe-Stop function, which means that the light burns for 4 extra minutes after the bike has stopped, which increases the safety of the rider tremendously.

The e-bike version of the HALO-GUARD features the innovative decelerator-based Stop-Light function, which enhances the safety of e-commuters by producing a bright and securizing beam of 19 Candela, while the rider slows down, brakes and stops in traffic. The decelerator-based Stop-Light function is activated when there is a speed change (deceleration) of around 1,25-1,5m/s, resulting in a visibility distance of 750 meters.

Compatible with dynamo-operated bikes (XDS) and e-bikes with a voltage range from 6-48VDC (XE, XEr).

The HALO-GUARD complies with ECE, German, Danish and Dutch regulations (XEr). The XDS and XE versions also comply with French regulations.
